Reaching the World for Christ
through our motto
"Loving God, Loving One Another"

State
This offering is collected for state missions each year and
is hosted by the Louisiana Baptist Convention.
The work of the Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering is making it possible to share the Gospel in such a variety of ways that people of such diverse need hear and have opportunity to respond. Your gift through the Georgia Barnette State Missions Offeringhelps both mission churches and ministry centers. It builds mission churches and supplements mission pastors. It provides for special mission projects and for mission education. Diverse needs, diverse methods, and diverse tools are part of the many faces of Louisiana missions. They provide our challenge and our mandate.
National
This offering is collected each year around Easter. The funds are sent to the
North American Mission Board to help them with the ministries and missionaries
they support across North America.
When people give to the offering, 100 percent of their gift will be transformed into missionary salaries and ministry supplies. Those missionaries and supplies will help others hear the message of Christ and respond in faith to His offer of salvation. Time and again our missionaries relate how the offering is their lifeblood. They know that behind each penny given, there is a Southern Baptist who believes in what they do and are affirming the need to equip them to share the gospel with those who need a Savior.
Other Recent National Missions include:
trips to
Kodiak, Alaska; Laredo, Texas; Jackson, Mississippi*; Nashville, Tennessee*

International
This offering is through the International Mission Board.
We collect this offering each year around Christmas,
and through it we are able to support missionaries and ministries around the globe.
Southern Baptist churches collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for the sole purpose of supporting international missions. Every penny of the offering goes to the International Mission Board’s overseas budget, thus supporting our missionaries and their work.
Other International Mission include:
trips to
Jamaica, Romania, Brazil
as well as yearly donations made through
Operation Christmas Child hosted by Samaritan's Purse

Matthew 28:19, 20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
